Classic children's adventure based on Arthur Ransome's classic novel. The story recounts the adventures of the Walker children who call themselves the Swallows, after their boat, as they holiday in the Lake District during the 1920s. There they meet two piratical sisters, known as the Amazons, who have already claimed the waters for themselves.

As Michael De Niro, Steven Savage and Nick Walken volunteer to serve in Vietnam, they fail to foresee the horrors that will encapsulate their future lives. When the men are captured by the Vietcong and forced to play Russian roulette for their entertainment, Michael and Steven manage to escape leaving Nick to fight off the enemy. As Steven is shipped home, severely disabled and damaged by the whole experience, he discovers that Nick has sent him money to help him get back into society. When the news of the fall of Saigon reaches home, Michael vows to return to Vietnam to bring home his friend.

US horror directed by Joe Dante. The film follows Karen White Dee Wallace Stone, a female TV reporter who goes to an out-of-town retreat in order to recover from a traumatic encounter with a serial killer. Unfortunately, her attempt to get some rest and relaxation is ruined when it becomes clear that her fellow residents are all werewolves, leaving Karen in a desperate battle to survive as she frantically looks for a way to escape. The cast also includes Patrick MacNee, Christopher Stone and Belinda Balaski.

Liza Minnelli, Burt Reynolds and Gene Hackman star in this comedy drama set in Prohibition-era America. Young widow Claire Minnelli joins rum-runners Walker Reynolds and Kibby Hackman on their boat, the Lucky Lady, off the coast of San Diego to help with their liquor smuggling operation. But the trio's romantic peace is disturbed by an angry Coast Guard captain and the mafia, who send out hitman McTeague John Hillerman to deal with the small-timers who are infringing on their business operations.

John Hurt stars as John Merrick, aka the elephant man, in this biographical drama directed by David Lynch. Brutalised in childhood for his deformities, Merrick has been ostracised throughout his life. When he is discovered by Doctor Frederick Treves Anthony Hopkins in Victorian London, Merrick is finally treated with the kindness and intelligence he deserves. Unfortunately, by awakening his true character the problems continue, for he can never lead a normal life.
