New Zealand drama written and directed by Jane Campion. The film follows Ada Holly Hunter, a mute Scottish woman sent to New Zealand with her daughter Anna Paquin for an arranged marriage to lonely landowner Stewart Sam Neill. When she arrives with her beloved piano in tow, Stewart forces her to leave it on the beach rather than carry it to his home. The estate manager, Baines Harvey Keitel, watches and listens in amazement when Ada visits the beach to play and subsequently he makes a deal with Stewart to keep it at his own house. Baines is enchanted by both the piano and Ada and eventually makes a bargain of sexual favours whereby Ada can win back the instrument.

Children's fantasy comedy in which a young girl befriends a ghost. Dr. James Harvey Bill Pullman, a ghost therapist, has been hired by the greedy owner of Whipstaff Manor to exorcise the house of its spirits, including the friendly, but lonely, Casper voice of Malachi Pearson and his crazy uncles Stretch Joe Nipote, Stinkie Joe Alaskey and Fatso Brad Garrett. While James' daughter Kat Christina Ricci forms a friendship with Casper his three uncles create havoc as they do everything in their power to prevent their eviction.

Tom Stoppard directs this feature adaptation of his own play in which two minor characters from 'Hamlet' amble unknowingly toward their inevitable demise. Rosencrantz Gary Oldman and Guildenstern Tim Roth arrive in Elsinore, summoned by King Claudius Donald Sumpter to discover the source of Prince Hamlet Iain Glen's melancholy. Trapped on the fringes of the plot, the inept duo struggle to make sense of their roles and motivation.

Robert Zemeckis directs this Academy Award-winning 1990s drama starring Tom Hanks. Forrest Gump Hanks is a good-natured but simple man from Alabama. As he recounts his home-spun words of wisdom, he reminisces on his life, from disabled child to decorated military hero in Vietnam, celebrity athlete and successful businessman, illustrating how America has changed over the decades. The cast also includes Sally Field, Robin Wright Penn and Gary Sinise.
